An old connection

Since the day,I opened these eyes,

Saw many wonders-beautiful and bright.

Have seen the best of man's creations,

His astonishing architecture

And perfect inventions.

Still nothing feels closer to the twinkling of stars..

My soul finds getting drawned to nothing

like the warm moonlight.

of lying with eyes closed on grass.

Getting oblivious of the world around

When she was on the mission of counting all the stars.

The child-who on "no moon"day used to pray to God

for giving her moon friend back.

Her friend was there

Waving at her back from the sky.
